Massage Services

Confused by variable pricing for different styles of massage? We have a SIMPLE pricing schedule. When you visit us* at Massage Rx, you pay the same price for the  therapist's time, regardless of modality.

Signature Massage    Tell your therapist what areas may need special attention, or, if you want to be relaxed or energized, and they will use a blend of massage styles to suit your needs.

Swedish Massage      There's a reason that this is the most popular style of massage in the western world. A classic Swedish massage uses pure oils and a variety of massage movements with light to medium pressure to produce the utmost in relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage     Deep tissue massage is a slow, intense and detailed massage on the area that is giving you the most problems: back and neck, shoulders and arms, low back and hips, or hip and legs. The purpose is to release chronic contracture of muscles and fascia and reduce pain, and to produce changes in movement and posture.

Lymph Drainage Massage   LDM is a very specialized style of massage, applied to face and neck, or to specific areas of the body where it may be needed. LDM is used to beautify the skin, mobilize the superficial fascia, stimulate circulation of immune cells, and reduce swelling and bruising. It is gentle, soothing, and deeply relaxing.

Lomi Lomi   Lomi Lomi is a massage of Hawaiian origin used as a part of the traditional Hawaiian healing system. The therapist uses their forearms in a rhythmic motion over large areas of the body to ease muscle tension and to increase circulation.

Reflexology   A detailed foot massage with work on pressure points on the feet, followed by a relaxing and soothing leg massage with oil or cream.

Spa and Specialty Treatments

60 minutes - $85

Hot Stone Therapy    A soothing full body massage using the warmth of heated Basalt Stones to help melt away the tension of the day.

Poultice Massage    Enjoy the soothing nature of this service designed to melt away the tensions of the day. Warm aromatic oil is applied to the body. Then, using the warm moist poultices, the therapist massages your body in a slow, rythmic sequence, working out soreness and tightness with the warming heat.

Bamboo Massage       This massage is performed with warm bamboo tools of various shapes and sizes leaving you wonderfully relaxed and revitalized. The treatment begins with an application of rich moisturizing lotion or oil. Using the bamboo tools as extensions of the hands and finger tips, the therapist can easily adjust pressure according to your personal level of comfort - from blissful relaxation to a firm  therapeutic massage.

Wraps and Scrubs     A variety of muds, clays, salts, sugar or scented scrubs can be used to cleans and sooth the skin over the entire body. Gentle head, face and hand massage is added to aid in the total relaxation experience.

Esthetics and Skin Care

The Facial         60 minutes- $75

Designed specifically for your skin's condition, this facial uses steam, extraction and special masks to bring clarity and balance to your complexion. A face massage relaxes that stressful look. For all skin types, including Rosacea.

Microdermabrasion   $50 per session or $30 as add on to facial

Helps to reduce signs of aging, fine lines and scars. Quick results with no downtime. Best results in a series of treatments. For people who are sensitive to glycolic and alpha-hydroxy peels.

Glycolic Peel       $85 initial treatment, then, $50 per session in a series of 5

A revitalizing exfoliation procedure ideal for aging skin and hyper-pigmentation. Glycolic acid will smooth the skin without dryness.

"Mix and Match"    Select a combination of services and create a package unique to your needs.
